Cinch Hobble #ZB
Description: This cinch hobble is 10 inches long when it’s folded, 3/4 inch wide and there are 3 adjustment holes. I make my cinch hobbles from biothane because it’s so durable.
How it works: This is a very important piece of tack and should never break. It will last a very long time even when used continuously in wet and dirty conditions. This biothane cinch hobble is the only piece of tack I make from non-natural materials.
Latigo Tie String #ZC
The quality of your tie strings is so important since they keep your bridles and reins from coming undone. This 1/4 inch x 16 inch latigo tie string is cut, hand edged, rubbed with saddle soap, waxed, and hand rubbed again to give you the highest quality tie string on the market. These tie strings are sold as singles, get a few to keep in the barn and in the trailer for emergencies!
Vaquero Rawhide Cream #ZK
Vaquero rawhide cream is a fine rawhide dressing. We use it right here in the shop to recondition the rawhide as we braid it. Rawhide dries during the braiding process and this cream is essential to keep the rawhide in perfect condition for braiding. It’s a good idea to use it to recondition your rawhide every 6-12 months. It’s easy to use just apply a generous coat of the cream, rub it in (you should still see some spots of cream if you’ve applied enough), hang it up for several hours to soak in and then ride!
A generous coat of Vaquero Rawhide Cream is applied to all rawhide products before they are shipped to you. Use it to clean, soften and preserve all of your rawhide.
DM Roper Cinch #11CR
Description: The hand-tied premium-grade DM Roper Cinch #11 CR is made of 31 strands of Mohair-blend cinch cord. Most cinches have 27 strands of cord or less. The extra strands allow the pressure to be spread further and also feel better to the horse. It’s just a more comfortable cinch. The buckles are made from round stainless steel rod with washers to hold the tongue straight. This DM Roper Cinch comes with a nylon web center strap with 1 inch stainless steel dees and a nylon web keeper for the double off tails on the right side. Roper cinches are available for any sized horse (see dropdown).
How it works: This 31 strand cinch will not curl or stretch and will last for years. The carefully crafted buckles are designed to always pull straight to prevent galling. The roper cinches are wide through the center to spread the pressure from the pull over the belly. Watch the video and read my blog: How to Measure for Cinch Length to make sure you get a cinch that fits.
Dennis Moreland Roper Cinches have been the top choice of professional horsemen for over forty years.
Rein Stops #ZA
Description: The Rein Stops are made of harness leather and measure 2 inches in diameter. They will fit any of the leather reins made at Dennis Moreland Tack. Reins Stops are made to go on the bit end of your reins and should be put on at the bit end.
How they work: Use these Reins Stops to prevent the rings on a martingale from getting hung up on the ends of your bit or on the bridle rein ends. This is a very good safety tool for very little investment. Sold by the pair.
