Nylon Romal Reins with Rawhide Buttons #CCR4

Description: These Nylon Romal Reins with Rawhide Buttons (also known as Romel Reins) are made of very tight, braid on braid, brown nylon rope. This is a very high quality rope that’s balanced and feels good in your hands. The romal is 1/2 inch in diameter and the reins are 3/8 inch in diameter. This rope has a lot of weight for its size. The set has 45 hand braided rawhide buttons and 9 barrel knots. The popper is dense, tight fibered racetrack harness leather. The romal and reins are connected with an 1/2 inch latigo strap with rawhide balls and loops. The reins have latigo connecting straps with stainless steel buckles and rawhide keepers. Stainless steel swivel snaps are included. The romal and reins are each 48 inches long and the connectors are 12 inches for a total of 108 inches.

This is a perfect 1st set of romal reins. They’re also a great inexpensive alternative to rawhide or kangaroo romals. Use them on the ranch, in the practice pen or in the show pen. These romals are legal in all events where romal reins are allowed. If you want to use rein chains and need a shorter rein let me know and I’ll make them just the way you want them. All of the rawhide at Dennis Moreland Tack is produced entirely by hand from start to finish before being braided.

The rawhide buttons should be conditioned regularly with #ZK Vaquero Rawhide Cream. Also shown on the horse is the Latigo Slide Ear Headstall #HS28, the Short S Shank Bit #B2, the Double Buckle Leather Curb Strap #CU21 and the 1/2″ x 5 3/4″ Latigo Bit Hobble #BH41.
