Braided Grass Hackamore Rein #CHR1
Description: If you’re looking for a hackamore rein that will really help you get a good turning response from your colts this is a good choice because it’s easy for a horse to feel the texture of this Braided Grass Hackamore Rein on its neck. This, in turn, helps colts understand neck reining cues. This hand braided grass rein is braided with a smooth solid-braid that’s 1 inch wide x 16 feet long. It doesn’t stretch and has been waxed to give it a longer life. Note that this rein can be a little scratchy on your hands.
This is a very useful rein to have when you’re training colts or tuning up older horses because this rein really helps your horses learn to respond to pressure. It’s high quality and will last.

Harness on Latigo 5/8″ Reins #BLH58
Description: If you’re looking for a very heavy rein with a lot of feel then this harness on latigo double and stitched rein is for you.
Custom cut from harness leather and lined with latigo leather, these reins are 5/8” wide and 7’9” long. The stitching is compressed tightly into the leather. As with all of my reins, these are hand edged, rubbed with saddle soap, oil and saddle soap again to give the leather a tremendous feel in your hands. Trainers tell me they love these reins for their weight and feel. They will last for years.

X Harness Leather Split Reins #ASR4
Description: Not everyone likes heavier reins, so I cut these X reins out of a lighter-weight hide. These reins average 7 to 7 1/2 feet in length, 5/8 of an inch wide. The attention to detail is still here, but offered in a lighter-weight version. These are ideal for ranchers who want to ride with a lighter rein than the XX. On a cold winter day, these reins will still be supple if you’re checking cows in the cold.
Crafting: These are cut in pairs from the best hides, hand edged, hand rubbed, oiled and hand rubbed again for a great feel before the reins are shipped to you. This tight fibered harness leather will last for years of hard use. If you have any questions please feel free to call 817-312-5305 and we will “talk reins”.
