Double Buckle Curb Strap with Rawhide #CU41

Description: The Double Buckle Curb Strap with Rawhide #CU41 is made of single ply 5/8 inch harness leather that is hand-edged, hand-rubbed, treated with Neatsfoot Oil and hand-rubbed again. Beautiful hand braided rawhide keepers and flat rawhide braid at the chin are added to complete the look. The buckles are stainless steel. The leather beneath the buckles is sewn together to prevent the buckles from slipping during adjustments.

How it works: The braided rawhide at the chin gives a quicker signal than a leather curb. It comes in contact with the chin slightly before the leather. The braided rawhide also gives a stronger signal than plain leather because of it’s texture. This curb may be really helpful on a horse that isn’t responding to the pull on the reins as well as it should with a leather curb. This curb gives a stronger, quicker signal than a leather curb but not as strong as the Double Buckle Curb Strap with Rawhide Ball #CU42.

This curb adds an eye-catching touch to a rawhide headstall and romel reins.
