When I decided to start Dennis Moreland Second Edition, I wanted to make a small line of very high quality working western tack utilizing the best designs possible. Each product is made with the finest firm harness leather and latigo, and only stainless steel buckles, rings, and chains are used. My bits and spurs are made of quality steel and silver. To ensure customer satisfaction each part is hand finished. Products are in stock and ready to be shipped.

I believe in "FUNCTION BEFORE FASHION". Tack must not only be beautiful to the eye, it absolutely must fit and function properly to give us that feel we need to get the highest performance from our horses. All of my products are designed upon the needs and suggestions of horsemen and tested rigorously before they are marketed.

8 3/4 inch aluminum shank bit offers the ultimate in feel and control when you need a light touch but want a slightly quicker signal than the 8 inch shank (bit #9). Build your bit by choosing the right mouthpiece for your horse from the selection in the aluminum bits category (see dropdown). All mouthpieces are 5 1/8 inch and made of steel, steel with inlaid copper strips, all copper (#44) or all rubber (#0). All bits include a leather bit hobble with hand braided rawhide keepers (bit hobble #51).
