This mecate, sometimes called a McCarty, is 22 feet long and used on both hackamores and snaffle bits. How they work: Use these Reins Stops to prevent the rings on a martingale from getting hung up on the ends of your bit or on the bridle rein ends. This is a very good safety tool for very little investment. Sold by the pair.
